  The
Great Wall is probably the most established takeaway in Whitburn
and despite new competition over the years it continues to deliver
the goods. Being one of the last take-aways on the way home for
those living in the west end (me !!) it is a welcome stop off point
for satisfying those alcohol induced hunger pangs. Over the years
I have not been disappointed by any meal bought at The Great Wall
and even their humble spring roll is the biggest in Whitburn !!.

Tucked away round the back of The Royal Bank of Scotland and round
the corner  from
The Anywhere Nightclub, a video shop and Falcon Frames, you could
almost forget about this small take-away. However, the truth is
that it is often the first port of call for those coming out of
the pubs and clubs in the centre of town. Not the biggest by all
means it can get a hectic at times especially if there are still
cars in the car park ( some drivers still see the need to park their
cars with their bumpers virtually touching the wall !! ). Again,
staff are friendly and helpful.
